COLLEGE EXPEREINCE: The College focuses on Engineering, Business and Utility Studies training which relates directly to the needs as identified by ASGISA (Accelerated & Shared Growth Initiative for South Africa) and JIPSA (JOINT INITIATIVE ON PRIORITY SKILLS ACQUISITION) for skilled people in the Engineering, Financial and Managerial fields while it is also addressing the needs for skilled artisans, IT Technicians, Employees in the Tourism and Hospitality fields as well as ECD practitioners.

The College boasts excellent facilities such as well-equipped workshops, computer centres, hair and cosmetology salons and industrial kitchens.

The top class business and administrative system ensures fully integrated administrative software to support the functions and processes of EWC. The administrative systems include Student Management, Financial Management, Human Resources (Personnel) and Payroll Systems, a Library System and Management Information Systems.
Critical Skills: The programmes that are offered address the following critical skills: transferable skills such as the ability to think critically and analytically, good communication skills, problem-solving skills, entrepreneurial skills, reading, writing, calculating and information technology skills.

The programmes also comprise of conceptual and applied knowledge. Each programme has a theoretical as well as practical component where learners are exposed to practical experience in either a workshop, simulated office or relevant experience in the working environment.
